Miniature Obsession

Hello this is my miniature painting blog.

I am a 34 year old librarian that is looking for a change. I love my career but need something that scratches the tech itch in me and gives me a chance to learn new skills. I am using this blog to teach myself how to paint miniatures and how to code a website.

This blog will continue to improve as I learn to code, which I guess will be a way to document my coding skills. To document my painting skills I will be posting photos of the models that I am working on. I will also post the tools, paints and techniques that use during my painting. My end goal is to be able to paint my miniatures to the same quality of the images on the packages that they come in. In fact, when I finally get to that point I will paint my two starter sets of Hell Dorado miniatures and post them to this blog, hence the image of the Maw Demons on my first post.

I will also be posting occasionally about miniature wargames that I'm interested in or have played recently.
